They have some of the most beautiful, antique stuff. It's all set up in booths, kind of like an antique flea market. The place was huge to say the least. The bottom floor was packed with everything antique you could think of, and the top floor was all furniture. I had my eye on plenty of things, but trying to stay in a budget didn't allow me to buy that much.
For it being an antique store, things were priced pretty decently, I thought. The also had plenty of "retro" clothing. Most of it looked like from the 60's-70's, and a lot of the home decor looked like it was coming back into style. I'm really big on Chevron print anything. I seen some pillows I loved, and some fabric. It was a chevron style and had all different colors. I'm looking for fabric for a stool I want to redo, so I may just go back for it. I wish I would have taken a picture to show you all how pretty it was.
Anyways, about halfway through the store, I found this:
It was marked $20, which I thought was awesome. Once I got to check out, it had been reduced to $16.
Score ;)
I've seen these all over Pinterest, and I wanted one badly! I just had no idea where to find them.
It needs a good cleaning, and I'm thinking of either keeping it this color, or a barn red color, to match my downstairs.
The possibilities are endless and that's what makes doing these kinds of things so much fun.
I didn't make any progress on my other coffee table today, sadly! It was such a busy day, but I'm hoping tomorrow will allow me to get some work done on the window frame, and to finish up the table.
Also, I found hubby and I a dresser! The best thing is, it was gifted to us by a wonderful family friend. I am so excited to get it home and fix it up for us. It's black, and i'm trying to decide what to do to it.
I will hopefully be posting more pictures tomorrow, of all these things finished. Also including the mirror, and shelf from yesterday!
Until then,
